As we all await the end of isolation because of the COVID-19 situation, we want you to know we miss you! There will be no May meeting for 2020! For those of you using Facebook, be sure to LIKE our page and JOIN our group. It allows quick and easy access to information about what is happening. Links are also posted to provide research information and any member information that we know.... If you are interested in a Zoom meeting, please let me know. A Zoom meeting can allow us to have interaction with each other as well as share a program or video. We are looking forward to getting together again when possible. Since it has finally stopped raining EVERY DAY, we have had some beautiful days with cool nights. The mountain laurel is exploding in color as the earlier spring flowers and trees turn to summer. Most of our "members" are in touch by email and/or Facebook. However, there is one that I know that cannot get his emails and is not a Facebook user. That is Farley Wolford. If you would like to call or send him a note or card, let me know and I'll get you the contact info. He is living in the Assisted Living facility in Blue Ridge and being well taken care of by the staff. It provides lots of social interaction usually. The COVID-19 situation placed the residents in isolation as well. Becky Singletary is also there and when possible she does see Farley and they chat. Blessings to all! Patti Patricia Thomas Martin
