The 2020 Centennial Fall Camporee Committee would to thank all the units and patrols that attended the event Oct. 9-11, 2020. It was great weekend had by all. We would like to thank all the unit leaders and SPL’s that offered their assistance helping with staffing all the events. A total of 7 units, 12 patrols consisting of 76 Scouts, and 27 adults attended. The camporee committee would like to thank the following units & patrols that attended: T-615 806, T-615 Parasites, T-1...2 Beavers, T-10 Exploding Ducks, T-112(G) Flaming Unicorns, T-112 Squatch Squad, T-615 North Star, T-122 Raptors, T-1615(G) Dragons, T-289 Bears, T-122 Radioactive Trash Pandas, & T-110 Cobra. String Burning contest was a no contest since all patrols exceeded the time limit (Thank you rain showers!) We hope that everyone that attended the camporee had a great time! Of the hundreds of awards that are presented each year, the Silver Beaver is the highest and most prestigious honor awarded to a volunteer by a local council for distinguished service to that council and Scouting. Please consider nominating a dedicated Scouter that has influenced the program of Scouting in your area for this award. Please submit your nominations to the GACA Council Service Center by December 31st 2202 and will be presented at the council's Centennial Gala & Recognition Banquet in March of 2021.
