Happy Boss's Day!

HAPPY WHITE CANE SAFETY DAY!

This week at GAB in Mrs. Bechtel's class: 1. Mrs. Bechtel and Kemet talking about the letter Tt while he feels his toes getting wet in Mrs. Hawkin’s sensory bin. 2. DJ is learning about the letter Tt by exploring the tractor and listening to tractor sounds. 3. MJ is learning about the letter Aa by exploring apples, eating foods made with apples, and listening to a story about apples, Ten Apples Up On Top. He is also working on position words: top and bottom.

Last week at GAB in Mr. English class, Morgan was given the task of stringing 40 keys on a shoestring as one of her vocational tasks. She continued to put more keys on the shoestring after reaching her objective. Morgan was informed that it was free time but kept adding keys. She was determined to put as many keys on the string as she could. There were 282 keys on the shoestring when Morgan finished the task. Morgan was focused, dedicated and determined to not only meet her objective but exceed it. Great job Morgan!

Today in Mrs. Bechtel's class they worked on vocabulary words please, hi, bye, and thank you! Then they had a parade in remembrance of 9-11. Played music: listened to" You’re A Grand Old Flag", "The Star Spangled Banner", and "America The Beautiful". Never Forget!
