Congratulations to Sandra Cason in Savannah, GA - She is the grand prize winner of the #turnipthevolume social media contest! Congratulations to this week's Farm to School month social media contest winner...The school nutrition staff, students, families of Cherokee County! The school nutrition staff invited everyone in their community to #turnipthevolume and turnip the taste by holding a turnip recipe contest! Families were challenged to develop a new, creative dish using turnips as inspiration. The winning recipe was a Cheesy Turnip Cornbread that they shared with the students. YUM! ...
