We are in the process of sprucing up our women’s shelter. We are looking for small groups and families to adopt a room. We would like each room to have NEW matching bedding and décor. Bobbie is... the mother of three boys, she works full time for Cartersville City Schools, she has a photography business on the side, and helps her husband with his thriving counseling business. Zach and Alexis Pritchard were married on October 20, 2012 after meeting at Cartersville High School in 2002. They have two daughters, Avery Claire and Paige. Z...ach is the owner of Pritchard Injury Firm. After working in Marietta for several years, Zach wanted to work closer to home. He opened his own personal injury law firm in 2019. Alexis has worked as a school counselor for Cartersville High School for the last ten years. She sees firsthand what kind of benefits come from Backpack Buddies and the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter and witnesses the saving grace of each of these organizations on a daily basis. Urgent Need: We have a guest that just arrived at our #3 Townsley Drive location. He literally only has the clothing on his back. He wears a size 34X34 in pants, XL in shirts, shoes size 9 1/2 and undergarments size large. If you have any clothes that would fit him please drop donations off at our #3 Townsley Drive location. Josh and Lori Shook were married on September 21, 2002. Josh was raised in Cartersville and Lori was raised in Blue Ridge and met at the University of West Ge...orgia. They have three beautiful girls: Katelyn 14, Kyndal 10, and Lera Mae 3. They are active members of CrossPoint City Church where Josh enjoys serving in the kids ministry. Josh is also currently serving as Chairman of the Board for Bartow Family Resources and has been a Canes mentor for 7 years. Lori is a member of the Cartersville Service League and enjoys serving different organizations in our community. She has had the privilege of serving on several non-profit boards. After 20 years in equipment sales, Josh along with Lori has transitioned to a new business in 2021, Upward Solutions, which provides grading and excavating services here in our community. Helping others is a passion both for Josh and Lori. They have both been active in our community and see the need for Good Neighbor and Backpack Buddies; they love giving back to our community and are honored to be a part of Dancing with the Stars. Carter and Keri were married on November 25, 2014 and have five children, three are attending college, one serving in the US Navy, and the youngest is a senior ...at Darlington High School. Carter was born and raised in Cartersville, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia. Keri was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa and graduated from University of Charleston. Their love story began while both being in the local real estate community. Carter has been a successful Realtor with Professional Realty Group for 18 years. Keri has been in the real estate industry also for 18 years as a Realtor and home warranty Senior Account Executive. They worship at Crosspoint City Church. The opportunity to participate in Dancing with the Stars this year has been a great honor. This amazing opportunity to participate in Dancing With the Stars and assist in raising money for both the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter and Backpack Buddies, will not only bring joy to The Smith’s but giving back to those in need within the Cartersville community in hopes it makes others lives better. Bruce and Tracy Mulkey were married on July 24, 1996 and will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary this year. They have four children: Emilie (23), Katie (2...1), Braden (13), and Brylie (12). Emilie and Katie graduated from Adairsville High School. Braden attends Adairsville Middle School, and Brylie is at Pine Log Elementary. The Mulkeys both work in education and are administrators for the Bartow County School System, seeing firsthand the impact Backpack Buddies and the Good Neighbor Shelter have on their students and their families. Bruce has been in education for over 27 years and has been the proud principal of Adairsville High School for ten years. Tracy has worked in education for over 22 years and has the privilege of serving for the past five years as Emerson Elementary School's principal. Even though the Mulkeys both love to "lead," even on the dance floor, they are excited about participating in this wonderful event. See more

Ahmad and Tamara Hall were married September 10, 2016. Ahmad is a native of Bartow County and was born and raised in Adairsville where he currently serves on th...e City Council. Ahmad also sits on the board of Directors for Tallatoona CAP and he's a part of Leadership Bartow. Tamara is a native of Floyd County where she graduated from Rome High. Tamara has worked closely with the Bob Richards Youth Detention Center and Floyd County Sheriff Department. Tamara is currently employed with the Georgia Department of Pardons and Parole. Tamara and Ahmad attend North Rome Church of God where Ahmad serves as worship Pastor. See more
