Congratulations to our Miss Georgia Southern University 2021, Kennedy Rose Williams! Kennedy is a Junior, majoring in Construction Management and minoring in Fashion Merchandising and Design. Kennedy is also a 3rd-year member of the Georgia Southern Dance Team. A true blue congratulations to our 1st Runner Up, Shekina Williams, and 2nd Runner Up, Kenley Lamb. Meet our Mr. Georgia Southern Candidate #6, Shahad Smith. Shahad is active in his community as he is a member of Collegiate 100, Men of Vision and Excellence, and The Zeta Delta Delta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. He also coaches and plays recreational sports at Georgia Southern and mentors at the Transitions Learning Center. Fun fact: Shahad enjoys coaching track at Langston Chapel Middle School! Meet our Mr. Georgia Southern Candidate #5, Kenterious Ken Goolsby. His hometown is Macon, Georgia. Kenterious is active in the Georgia Southern community as he is a member of Collegiate 100, The Minority Advisement Program, and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated Zeta Chi Chapter. Meet our Mr. Georgia Southern Candidate #4, Christopher Castro. His hometown is Rome, Georgia. Christopher is also very active with Club Sport teams including the Soccer team, Golf team, and the Ultimate Frisbee team. Christopher is also a member of Young Life. Meet our Mr. Georgia Southern Candidate #3, Jalon Ross. His hometown is West Shawmut, Alabama. Jalon is the Parliamentarian and Treasurer of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Xi Tau Chapter, President of Men of Vision and Excellence, a FYE Peer Leader Supervisor, member of the President Student Advisory Council Committee, a Student Assistant in the Office of Inclusive Excellence, and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Meet our Mr. Georgia Southern Candidate #2, Carlos Carvajal. His hometown is Bogota, Colombia. Carlos is active in his community as he has been involved in Georgia Southern's Men's Volleyball Team, as well as being a member of the Choir of Saint Dominic's Church in New York and with Vidamor Foundation in Colombia as an Art Teacher.
