GA Dept of Public Health has some explaining to do. I have been tracking CONFIRMED GA cases according to their daily statistics since the state began reopening businesses on 4/24. The GA Dept of Public Health has a graph on their web site showing COVID-19 cases over time. They state, "This chart is meant to aid understanding whether the outbreak is growing, leveling off, or declining and can help to guide the COVID-19 response." The chart clearly displays a distinct decli...ne in confirmed cases....BUT THESE NUMBERS DO NOT MATCH THE DAILY REPORTED # of CONFIRMED CASES they publish each day and I do not understand the reasoning for this discrepancy. Numbers in section below... Date///Confirmed Cases////Confirmed Cases on Chart 4-24///608///485 4-25///725///220 4-26///265///139 4-27///738///89 4-28///279///33 Perhaps there is something I am missing? Maybe someone can set me straight. I am trying to gauge where we are at based on data in order to make an informed decision on when to open my business based on CDC guidelines...not what our Governor says. I want to believe our state dept of public health is putting out accurate data but I'm confused by their "feel good" chart with curious numbers.

Friends and local customers. We are not yet currently open for business as usual. This means we are unable to provide restringing and racquet vitalization services at this time. Yes, the governor has cleared the way for some businesses in our state to open, but we will not reopen until the evidence shows the COVID-19 cases in Georgia are declining at a rate consistent with CDC guidelines. At that point in time we will slowly reopen services using the CDC guidelines as well as an abundance of common sense and caution. We look forward to servicing your needs as soon as the data suggests it is an appropriate time for us to reopen.

We remain open and happy to serve your racquet stringing/optimization needs! During this public health emergency we remain committed to serving our customers to the best of our abilities and doing it with safety and social distancing in mind. Toward this end, we have instituted some changes to how we interact with our local customers. This is temporary, but necessary and in the spirit minimizing exposure for all. 1. We have a new "Racquet Drop Box" that is placed outside... our door during office hours. You will simply place your racquet(s) in the box and then call, text or email us to discuss your preferred string and tension setup. 2. After you leave we will wash our hands thoroughly and then retrieve your racquet, covering the handle, and then disinfect the racquet(s) before performing the service. 3. During this time, we are NOT performing any grip or overgrip replacements or modifications. We will resume this service when the public health emergency is over. 4. After stringing we will disinfect your racquet(s) again. We will wash our hands again and then place your racquet(s) in a plastic bag. 5. We will contact you to let you know your racquet(s) is/are complete. 6. At this time we will be asking for payment either via credit card over the phone OR we will send you a Paypal request for payment. Using these methods will allow us to avoid the exchange of cash or touching of credit cards for the time being. 7. We will confirm a time frame when you will be picking up your racquet(s) and then place your racquet(s) in the drop box for you to pickup. 8. We will be able to monitor the drop box from our office to make sure your racquets are safe when waiting for you to pick them up. 9. We still have plenty of grips, overgrips, tacky towels, head tape, dampeners, etcetera. If you need any supplies PLEASE let us know and we will include them with your racquet for pickup. 10. We will continue these services and fulfilling online orders until such a time as we are ordered to not come to work. Do not worry, if an order not to work comes in while your racquet is being serviced, we will make arrangements to get your racquet to you...it will be available. We hope all our customers remain safe during this period of time. We also ask you to please support the small family-run businesses as much as possible...we really need your support during these difficult times. Be safe my friends!

Just finished stringing Volkl Cyclone for a customer who brought it in. I have never enjoyed this string and today after stringing in an 18 x 20, my dislike is intense. My initial inclination is to ban it from our shop. However, that is probably a bit extreme. So I am just going to increase cost to install. My question to the group...should I add one "0" or two? $190 or $1900? Open to suggestions.
