2012 National BBQ cup. I still remember it like it was yesterday. Reserve Grand Chamption with over 100+ Professional teams. Remembering this makes me want to go back into competing ( sort of) This trophy use to be in my living room. I finally won and put it in the barn. It stayed there for YEARS. When we opened Holy Smokes BBQ, Gary Lanton saw this as a perfect place to display his trophy as a SINK!! Thank you to Stephen-Autumn Byxbe from Established for making it possible. Also thank you to Kyle Wells for getting it hooked up. Randall Bowman

Y’all it’s cold outside! The TCS Beta club has our jacket rack stocked with warm coats if you need them. Need a coat, take a coat, Have a coat, leave a coat. Just because we’re dealing with Covid doesn’t mean the days are any warmer. Look out for your fellow person and keep this going. If your hungry come by and we’ll feed you, we’re all in this together. You will be blessed for blessing others. I pray Gods blessings on you all.... Devotional from Pastor Chris Dixon Liberty Church Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ Matthew 22:37-39 We all have an ‘I’ problem... I want it my way and I want it in my timing. This creates major problems in my life because I have to do life with others. Scripture takes it a step further and teaches I have to love and consider others even to the point of considering them more so than myself. Jesus taught that the second greatest commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself. Have you ever noticed that the middle letter of ‘sin’ is ‘I’? At the root of sin is self-centeredness. Have you also noticed that the middle letter of ‘pride’ just happens to be ‘I’, as well? What other ‘I’-centered sins happen when you start living a self-focused life? You start to whine and criticize. You turn envious, deceitful, and even defiant. Guilt, fatigue, pessimism, hostility, and emptiness - all with ‘I’ at the center. What is the only antidote to an ‘I’-focused life? You have to change your focus. You’ve got to have a purpose, passion, and plan all greater than just you. How does this happen? When you fix your focus on Jesus. Notice the first commandment gives us something to build our lives on: we are to love and live for God. The second commandment gives us a way to do it: we are to serve others. Take time today to love God by spending time with Him. Then take time today to serve others. This is what a fulfilling life is all about.
