DUE TO A POST THAT SHOWED UP ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE YESTERDAY, I WANTED TO SHARE THE FOLLOWING: At Horton's Beef Jerky we work hard to make sure our customers are taken care of. The attached order was placed on August 10. When the customer received their order they called and said we sent the wrong flavors. We submitted the order as we recieved it. She said she ordered 5 Peppered Beef Jerky. That is not what was submitted on the order. So, being the generous person Van is..., he told her to keep what we sent and we would send her 5 bags at no charge, even though the error was not our fault. (Please tell me what other company will send you free product when you order incorrectly..) The FREE bags were sent at no charge...(Disclaimer....the free bags sent were the same as ordered previously in error and not just 5 Peppered. That was an error by a "new" employee that did not know the issue). So yesterday someone started posted about how horrible our company was because we could not get the orders right and scammed people out of their money....we were scumbags in his words. He called and screamed and cussed at our employees which we do not take lightly. He told them they were incompetent and could not read and he would ruin us on social media. So if you saw the post, this is the real story. The customer ordered 5 bags of jerky incorrectly and ended up receiving free product from us and proceeded to scream and complain about the FREE items that were sent. Please, when placing your orders, make sure it is entered correctly....we receive numerous orders on a daily basis and our employees work very hard and very long hours to ensure the product goes out on time and is the quality of product that you expect.
