This is currently affecting the Houston County Deten...tion Center, Houston County Courthouse, Houston Healthcare, Houston County Board of Education, Flint Energies. We have been advised that Windstream is having line issues near the Perry, GA area today. This is currently affecting our Board of Elections, Public Works, Maintenance, and Landfill departments in Houston County. Thank you for your patience!

ATTENTION: County Employees, Power has been restored to all of Houston County Government Buildings in Perry. All Houston County Employees will be on regular sc...hedule hours for Tomorrow Friday October 12, 2018. This includes Public Works, Purchasing, Detention Center and Perry Courthouse.

ATTENTION: County Employees, As a result of power outages, The Houston County Courthouse in Perry will be closed on Thursday, October 11th, 2018. This includes... the Houston County Purchasing / Warehouse on Kings Chapel Road. All other Houston County Government employees are to report to work by 1:00PM TODAY Thursday October 11, 2018. This affects all NON-ESSENTIAL personnel. All essential and mandatory personnel are to report at their regular assigned duty time. If you have any questions as to if you are essential personnel, please contact your direct supervisor.

The Houston County Courthouse will open at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 11th, 2018. Thursday's Plea and Bond calendar will begin at 1:30 pm. The Probation calendar originally scheduled for 1:30 pm will be cancelled. All parties will be notified of the new date at a later time. Please monitor your local news feeds and Houston County's facebook page for updates.

At this time, ALL Houston County Government Offices will be OPEN today, January 17th. All employees are to report to work until further notice.
