Organic sculpting vs. Geometric sculpting: If we are sculpting something organic, we like to create the prototype by hand. After the proptotype is hand sculpted, we then scan the sculpture and convert it into a digital file so that we can modify it and 3D print it if we need to. But if we are creating something that is more geometrical or that requires more precision, we use directly digital 3D sculpting. Rock creation 101 Once the design is finalized and the client has agreed on the look, it's time to create the vision. The first step is to sculpt the rocks in foam which will work as a substructure.
