Chinese herbal formulas are a great way to support your well being while social distancing! I can do a telehealth consult and then prescribe you an indiviidualized formula that you can pick up outside our office. These formulas can address the same concerns that acupuncture can address with the added benefit of being able to stay in the safety of your home. Reach out if you have questions or want to set up a consult.

It’s Election Day. Let your voice be heard. If you encounter long lines or delays of 45 minutes or more because of voting machine issues/malfunctions, you should report the delay to poll officials and can request an emergency paper "provisional" ballot.

We are thrilled to welcome Abbie Hurewitz, L.Ac. to Intown Acupuncture. She’s a graduate of Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York and brings a sincere heart, skillful hands, and a delightful laugh. As we prepare to re-open the clinic Abbie looks forward to meeting you and serving your acupuncture needs.

Hi Everyone! This is Jen, resident massage therapist. I miss my people and helping them, I’m looking forward to the day we can slowly begin again. Learning about the current situation and taking time to wind down have been a big part of my time :) here are a few examples of our down time: exploring local parks, backyard camping and painting cards for family and friends.

The office is undergoing some exciting transformations! We have been working hard to bring light and life into the space by replanting the front garden. This project has been lot of fun and we can't wait to show y'all the finished product very soon!

Hi everyone, this is Judith. In case you didn't know, Jim, and I are both acupuncturists and Chinese Medicine herbalists. So even though we can't poke you we can still treat you with herbs! I've just finished watched a series of talks about herbal approaches to viral related symptoms. Chinese Medicine has such a rich history dealing with epidemics and a lot of good insights. So I feel (sort of!) ready to try and help folks with symptoms. I've also been doing some telehe...alth work with people for herbal formulas for other issues like insomnia, headaches, anxiety, allergies, you know, just the same old stuff! Jim devised a sweet system where he hung hooks outside so we can put out people's formula's to be picked up safely. It's a good time to try herbs so reach out if you are interested. Miss seeing all your beautiful faces in real time. Stay safe. See more

Thinking of and sending peace to all the women who we’ve had the privilege of tending along the wide continuum of the motherhood journey. Sharing your hopes, tears, suffering, courage, losses, and joys is a privilege.

Spring greetings to you all! This week, Faith Russler is highlighted. Faith truly misses being in the treatment room and has been checking in with clients and offering support. She’s also been taking advantage of many continuing education opportunities. And with so much time at home, Faith has been taking leisurely walks in Atlanta’s lovely neighborhoods, discovering wonderful expressions of community support, spending a lot of time in our parks and on nature trails, singing with several virtual choirs, and finding and making some great recipes. While we wish we could tell you when Intown Acupuncture will reopen, please know that we’re discussing it carefully and will hopefully let you know soon about our reopening. In this meantime, please take extra good care.

Hello all! As we continue to shelter at home we will be highlighting what our practitioners are up to, ways they are keeping up with their practice, and how they are finding new ways to self-care. This week Kimberly Bonde, who founded Intown Acupuncture, is in the spotlight! While unable to see patients at the office, Kimberly goes by a few times a week to work on continuing education, keep up with clients via phone and email, and simply enjoy being in the healing space of t...he practice. She often brings her dog Charlie along to have some company while working! Of course everyone has tried to find good ways to relax and stay healthy during this stressful time. Kimberly has enjoyed gardening with her wife Elizabeth, baking with her daughter Kendra, and taking nice long walks around the neighborhood. While being at home with the family and the many animals (one dog, and FOUR cats!), she deeply misses treating patients. From all of us at Intown Acupuncture, please stay safe, reach out if we can be a support, and know that we look forward to safely reopening.
