Meet Miss Olivia, she is 3 years old, our Executive Director’s sweet little niece, and we want to share a special moment, well ok, maybe brag on her for a moment... Tonight while on the playground for her daddy-daughter date night she noticed there was a lot of trash laying all over the ground. She said Daddy we need to pick the trash up and put it in the garbage can but after her daddy looked around he noticed no garbage can were there so he told her that was very nice id...ea but unfortunately no garbage cans were there. She immediately replied but we have a trash can at home we can put it there. He told her they couldn’t pick all the trash up and take it home, there was just too much to carry. She looked very sad so he asked her if she wanted to go home, get a garbage bag and come back, then pick up all the trash. AND what did Miss Olivia do? Yep, she got super excited, screamed YESSSS, and began running home. Once they got home he asked her what she wanted to do, just to see if she remembered what they actually came home to do, she immediately said we need to pick up the trash! So he drove back to the park and she began walking around picking up all the trash she could find! As you can tell by this sweet picture Miss Olivia was so proud of herself for picking up all the trash off the ground at her playground! Thank you, Miss Olivia for doing your part in keeping your community clean, GREEN, and healthy!
