KIPP Metro Atlanta

KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools is currently comprised of 11 joyful, academically excellent schools (including one district partner school) located in the Atlanta Public Schools and Fulton County Schools district. We currently educate 5,100 students and support over 900 college-aged alumni. We are committed to fully supporting our students, K through college, career, and beyond. That's our promise. Florence Griffith Joyner, better known as Flo-Jo, was a Track and Field superstar who still holds the world record for both the 100 and 200-meter runs and remains the fastest woman of all time. Born on December 21, 1959 in Los Angeles, California, Flo-Jo showed an early interest in track and field. She began running track in elementary school through high school. She attended California State University at Northridge and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Ov...er the course of her career, Flo-Jo competed in multiple world championships and Olympic Games. At the 1988 U.S. Olympic Trials, Flo-Jo set the world record in the 100 and 200-meter sprints and went on to win three gold medals and one silver medal at the 1988 Olympics. Flo-Jo was also known for her style as she wowed crowds with her colorful and bold running suits. Florence Griffith Joyner, aka Flo-Jo, is American history.

You can confirm your designated polling location at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov or contact your county’s registrar’s office. Be sure to bring your valid ID! Polling places are open on Election Day from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you are in line by 7:00 p.m., you are allowed to cast your ballot!...
