Last year, before everything shut down students in the film and theater program took a field trip to Ares Studios. While there they were able to use the Ares set to create a short film. This film had obstacle after obstacle the students had to overcome in order to complete it. On Tuesday, April 20th from 6:15pm-7:30, there will be a virtual college fair for Lanier students of all grade levels and parents to learn more from 10 colleges and universities. Juniors and Seniors, this is a great opportunity to hear from ten colleges including Wesleyan, Mercer, University of West Georgia, St. Mary’s, Dalton State, KSU, UNG and more. Congratulations to Natasha Reilly! Her film "Lemonade" won for Best Cinematography and Best Live Action Film for STN's Film Excellence category. On February 20th, the Student Television Network held their virtual convention, where they made the announcement. STN is a prestigious national organization that supports High School and Middle School students across the nation in Broadcast and Film.
