Female owner and engineer, Jade Brown, launched Charleston-based Sprout Design Lab after establishing a void in the market for personalized fine jewelry. With a mechanical engineering degree from @dukeuniversity and nearly six years working with Boeing, Jade embarked on a journey to use 3D printing to transform children’s artwork into treasured jewelry elegantly preserved for a lifetime. Don’t get us wrong, we can text in our sleep and draft emails with our eyes closed , but nothing compares to a handwritten note from an acquaintance or loved one. There’s something about slowing down, putting pen to paper, and just letting words flow. Whether it’s a thank you card, a birthday wish, or a simple note just to say hi, a handwritten letter evokes a feeling that’s hard to replicate. And, pretty paper doesn’t hurt!
