IMITATE GOD By: Dale C. Bronner Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Ephesians 5:1 (NLT)... Today's Focus: Do Like God Does Maybe when you were a child, you played Follow the Leader. Where the leader went, you went. And so it is with God. He is your leader; you are His follower. Live in such a way that you imitate God in whatever you do. Remember, it’s a process. Just like babies practice walking, you can practice imitating the Lord. On your job, imitate God. In your home, imitate Him. With your spouse, imitate Him. Imitate God with your children. In your attitude, imitate God. Be kind. Be loving. Be forgiving. Be merciful. Be patient. And as you imitate God, remain humble. Then, others will see your Father in you more and more. They’ll recognize that you belong to Him. Today's Thought: Let your actions and heart exude your Father. Today's Prayer: God, let all that I do be pleasing to You and help me exemplify You.

IMITATE GOD By: Bishop Dale C. Bronner Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Ephesians 5:1 (NLT)... Today's Focus: Speaking Like God If you’ve ever been around talking parrots, you know they imitate words. What if you did the same thing, but with God? Imagine how life giving your words would be if you imitated how He speaks. Maybe you’d fuel more people with encouragement. Maybe you’d send more compliments. Or perhaps you’d speak the truth in love. Consider how much more faith your words would carry. Doubt would be smothered. Fear would flee. People would be built up and they’d move toward their destiny. Excuses would cease. Just imagine. Imagine who you’d become if you didn’t allow detrimental words out? Imagine how much you will have spoken into existence just as God spoke over an earth without form and void. Consider how different your life would be if you moved from imagination to implementation. Let today be the start of a new sound from your mouth. Imitate God in the way He speaks! Today's Thought: Consider how God speaks and talk like Him. Today's Prayer: Lord, empower me to speak like You!
