Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I have recently ordered another hundred Marvel Dry Cleaners laundry bags, so if you have not already received your bag, please stop by and pick one up. They are just simply marvelous and convenient!

As of right now I am putting everyone on notice that if this burned out house catches fire again and one SPARK hits Historical Marvel Cleaners, I am going to be holding the property owner, the City of Savannah and Chatham County responsible for damages. You have been given plenty of time to take down/secure this structure and it has not been taken care of. I have seen people going in and out of this house the past several days. It is ridiculous that people are allowed to go back into a unsafe structure that has been burned twice before! I HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT A HISTORICAL LANDMARK!

On a very serious note... this house has caught on fire twice in the last month. As you can see, it is very close to Marvel Cleaners. As I stand outside of my back door taking this picture, I realize that Marvel Cleaners could very easily have gone up in flames! We have complained to everyone about this house, but to no avail. It would be a shame to lose Marvel Cleaners, a national historical landmark, to a fire because of someone else's negligence!

Marvel Cleaners will be closed Weds., Jan. 1 and Thurs., Jan. 2, for the New Years Holiday. We will reopen on Friday, Jan. 3 at 6 a.m. Wishing everyone a very Happy and Blessed New Years!
