Agents from the Haralson Paulding Drug Task Force along with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office located the child and the mother in Douglas County. The child is safe. Anitritte Boyd has been arrested for Aggravated Assault and Possession Of Firearm by Convicted Felon. This is still an active and ongoing investigation.

HaralsonCountyGa An #AmberAlert has been released for four-year-old Brayden Lee Dobbs. This morning, Anitritte Boyd Dobbs went to the home of her estranged husband, Lee Dobbs, with an unknown male. A struggle took place and Lee Dobbs was shot. Four-year-old Brayden Lee Dobbs was taken from the home after the shooting. Investigators are pulling video evidence and hope to have the unknown male identified soon. Anitritte Boyd Dobbs is a 42-year-old black female with black hair and brown eyes, she is 5’2 and weighs 165 lbs. Neighbors state they think a black Dodge Charger left the scene shortly after the gunfire. This is an active and ongoing investigation; more information will be released at a later time See more

#HaralsonCountyGA Deputies say Thursday evening they attempted to arrest Kyle Lee Allen for Aggravated Assault and Possession of Firearm By Convicted Felon. Allen reportedly escaped from Deputies before they were able to get him into the car. He is now facing additional charges. Allen is described as a 27 yr old W/M; 5’10, 180 LBS with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen in the 1200 block of Highway 100. ... If you see him, please call 911. If you have any information about his whereabouts, call the HCSO.

We’ve been told this is clear as of 5:30pm- but use caution in the area as spilled rocks are near the road.

WEATHER ALERT: The National Weather Service has issued a Hard Freeze Warning for Eastern Alabama and a Special Weather Statement related to Black Ice for West Georgia. Rainfall associated with an approaching cold front will be moving through the region this afternoon and evening. As the rain exits the region this evening cold air will filter into the area quickly behind the rainfall. In addition...relative humidity values are expected to remain high over night. As a result of... the temperatures quickly dropping below freezing and relative humidity values remaining high...many area roads and bridges will not have an opportunity to dry off and subsequently have an opportunity to freeze overnight and into the early AM resulting in areas of black ice. Low temperatures tonight will range from 17 degrees in East Alabama to 22 degrees in West Georgia which will quickly freeze any residual moisture on bridges, overpasses and roadways. Those traveling should be aware of possible black ice tonight and early Tuesday morning and use caution and provide extra time to reach your destination.

#Breaking The #HaralsonCountyGA Sheriff’s Office has arrested a second person in connection with the shooting death of Taylor Daniel on October 11th. Nakoda Fermine, age 17 of Buchanan has been arrested and charged with one count of Robbery and Felony Murder. He is being held in the Haralson County Jail. An additional charge of Robbery has been placed on Brinden Barker. The investigation continues.

#Advisory #HaralsonCountyGA Water Authority advising all residents to conserve water during the period of widespread power outages. A number of pumping stations have been affected and conservation is needed to ensure quality drinking water will be available during this time, as well as to ensure water is available for fire protection. Normal usage of water may return once power is restored to the majority of the county.
