What Do Realtors Do? Episode 5 This week our Realtors (George Best & Michaela Rowland)are helping their customers navigate the inspection and due diligence process. How do Realtors help with inspections and repairs... 1 Realtors act as an intermediary between the inspector and the buyer or seller by asking for clarifications on issues that arise. 2 Realtors may be more aware of home inspection red flags than the buyer and can bring them to attention. For sellers, Listing Agents can prepare them for inevitable repair items that could come up in an inspection and make recommendations of repairs to avoid possible price reductions. 3 Realtors can see the things the inspector mentions in the report firsthand so they are better able to discuss them with the buyer later. 4 Realtors add to their overall knowledge of inspections by gaining experience from every inspection they have been apart of and can better answer questions from future clients when issues arise. Realtors are also able to distinguish which inspection issues are more common in specific areas and neighborhoods. 5Realtors have relationships with inspectors and contractors which can be a huge help when trying to get estimates for repairs in a timely manner during the limited time given for a due diligence period. Team Member Spotlight: Michaela Rowland Michaela is one of our Premier Realtors and started working at Premier at the early age of 19. On top of selling real estate, she was finishing up her degree at Georgia College and State University. Team Member Spotlight: Dan Coxwell Danno the Manno is the patriarch of the Premier Team and has a number of responsibilities for the company serving as our Property Manager. Dan also serves as an Associate Broker for the company. We couldn't function without him, and he provides a wealth of knowledge in the real estate business with his 20+ years of experience. Dan started at Premier in 2015, and his work ethic is hard to match as well as his reliability. When you ask Dan to take care of something for you, consider it done! When Dan isn't working, you can find him cutting his immaculate lawn, grilling on his green egg or spending time with his wife Angela and his children and grandchildren.
