9th Honors Literature/STEM students are currently creating a website to display narrative, opinion, informational, and argumentative writing while studying William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. Clint Hinely, Digital Executive Producer from WTOC News, met virtually with Miss Kirk and Mrs. Davis’ classes to discuss news websites. Hinely answered previously created questions from students addressing website organization, font and color choices, images and advertisements. Additionally, he discussed how to receive criticism and apply it effectively in order to strengthen the overall message of their websites. We appreciate Mr. Hinely for sharing his expertise with our students!

Tuesday, February 23rd, is Valerie Feske Day at the RHMS Baseball Game against Bryan County Middle School. Her son, Derek Feske, will throw out the first pitch at 4:15. Come out and support Valerie and her recovery! #WeAreRHMS #valsvillage

Come out and support your girls and boys basketball teams as they host the semi-finals on Thursday, January 14th. Girls start at 4:30, boys will follow. Come out and support your Wildcats! #WeAreRHMS

Pre-season conditioning for soccer, both boys and girls, will begin Tuesday, January 12th from 3:30 - 4:30. Conditioning is not mandatory and will be every Tuesday and Thursday leading up to tryouts. Please be sure that all forms are completed prior to the start of conditioning. Boys team will meet in Coach Barnwell's room at 3:30 and girls will meet in Coach Svindland's room. #WeAreRHMS

Mrs. Avant is being recognized by GYSTC as FY 2021 Georgia STEM Scholar for her outstanding work to engage and improve student learning in STEM disciplines.
