Rotary Club of White County, Georgia

Today we enjoyed gathering for our annual Christmas meeting. Thanks to Willow Creek Farm for hosting us, North GA BBQ Cleveland for lunch, Clint Baughman and Kip Dockery for providing live music, and the Rev. Joe Vernon for delivering a Christmas message of hope.

Eddie Staub, founder and executive director of Hall County-based Eagle Ranch, was this week's featured speaker. Eddie discussed the mission of the faith-centered residential community for boys and girls going through a crisis, as well as being an example of God’s grace and serving as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ for those hurting and in need of guidance. Eagle Ranch provides a house life, counseling, education and spiritual programs. He noted that its primary service area are counties contiguous to Hall County, including White County.

Members of the White County Rotary Club pitched in to help the White County Food Pantry this week by sorting donations that will be distributed to residents in need.

Rotarians join the ‘chain gang’ The White County Warriors have wrapped up their home football games for the regular season, and members of the Rotary Club of White County were on the sidelines as members of the ‘chain gang’ that place down and yardage markers.
