We are pleased to inform you we opened our 1099 Bermuda Run location for full service on June 10. The opening of the Market District Branch has been a success and we will continue to reopen our other branches. On June 22, we will open our Savannah Federal Branch located at 100 W. Oglethorpe Ave. Savannah, GA for full service including teller transactions. As we systematically reopen our branches for full service, you will notice several new procedures in place to help reduce ...the spread of COVID-19. As you enter the branches for the first time since their reopening you will immediately notice we have eliminated almost all touch points. Not only will you notice the touch points have been removed but also acrylic barriers have been installed at each teller window and Member Service Representative desk. These measures have been made to protect you and our employees from the spread of COVID-19. While visiting a branch, we ask that you remain directly in front of them for maximum protection. On May 7, we began taking branch visits, for account maintenance and loan requests, by appointment only. As we move into the second phase of branch openings, no changes will be made to our current procedures for account maintenance and loan requests. The second phase will add in-branch teller transactions to the available services. All in-branch teller transactions will follow strict social distancing guidelines allowing only a small number of members into the branch at any time. Additionally, we have placed guidelines at the entrance of each branch. If you desire to make in branch transactions, we ask you to read and follow the guidelines before entering the branch. Thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times. We continue to work diligently to provide you availability to all your financial needs while minimizing the spread of COVID-19. Additional correspondence will follow as we make decisions regarding the opening of our Brooklet and downtown Statesboro branches.
