The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act was signed into law providing resources to assist school districts. Funds are provided to State educational agencies and school districts to help reopen safely, sustain the safe operation of schools and address the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the nation’s students. As SCCPSS prepares for in-person school, 5-days a week beginning August 4, 2021, the District is seeking input and asks all stakeholders including students, parents, guardians, staff, and community members, to provide feedback by taking this brief survey. https://bit.ly/2UfL72e

Looking for a good book to read? Why not try the new book by one of our own students? Delaney Myers has co-authored her first book (with her grandmother!) and it's getting rave reviews! Delaney recently had a book signing and Mayor Van Johnson was there to congratulate her. We're pretty proud of her, too, Mayor Johnson! Way to go, Delaney! Look for "Delaney's Adventures With Friends" at area bookstores and online. https://spwww.sccpss.com//Jacob-G.-Smith-Student-Releases-
BIG THANKS to our friends at Enmarket and Healthy Savannah for providing refillable water bottles for our students at A.B. Williams Elementary School! Because water fountains are disabled due to COVID-19, all students have been given a water bottle and they can refill them at the touchless water bottle refilling station! We appreciate our business partners for supporting our students.
