We ask that our families please let your therapists or the front office know if your family needs to cancel sessions because of holiday plans. ... Mrs. Chandler Speech therapist and Lead Feeding Therapist will be out Thursday 12/17, Friday 12/18, Monday 12/21 and Tuesday 12/22. Mrs. Heather Speech therapist will be off the week of Dec 21 and 28 Miss. Melissa Lead Occupational therapist will be off 21,22,23. Mrs. Deanna Speech therapist will be out Dec 22nd and 23rd. Mrs. Tori Occupational therapist will be out on Dec 23rd.

Something New at SenseAbilities. On your next visit to SenseAbilities you’ll notice some signs in front of parking spaces with numbers on them. Here’s what we need you to do:... At your child’s next appointment please remain in your car, call the front office and let them know what space you are in. A SenseAbilities employee will come to your car to take your child’s temperature and have you sign our COVID form. If all the parking spaces with numbers are full, then please park in an empty slot and call the front office to let them know where you are parked. We’d like to thank all our SenseAbilities families for their patience, understanding, and compliance of our new regulations.

October is Physical Therapy month! Ms. Emily, a SenseAbilities Physical Therapist, wrote this bio to let her families get to know her a bit more. Happy last day of Physical Therapy Month! As a PT, I am a firm believer in practicing what you preach. When I ask my patients to do exercises at home and stay active, I want them to know that I do the same. I am currently working towards becoming a certified yoga teacher and am training to run a half marathon in January. Throughout the month of October I completed the Sorinex Squat-tober challenge; it was tough but a sticker chart, just like the ones some of my kiddos use, kept me motivated. I also believe life is about balance so after getting active, I like to reward myself with a brownie or a bowl of ice cream!

In honor of October being Physical Therapy Month we are featuring our PT student Ms. Angelina. Ms. Angelina is a third year doctor of physical therapy student at Brenau University. She was born and raised in Warner Robins and graduated from Houston County High School in 2013, Go Bears ! She is so thankful to have this clinical experience at SenseAbilities in her hometown. After graduating in May, she hopes to work in the field of pediatrics or sports medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog, watching Harry Potter movies, and rooting on The Ohio State Buckeyes. She also enjoys eating her favorite dessert (a ) while watching her favorite Disney movie, Lilo and Stitch!

Halloween Fun! Miss. Emily PT and her student Angelina set up a Halloween themed gross motor maze for SenseAbilities kiddo’s to enjoy! Featured is Sam. Mrs. Leighton Sam’s speech therapist had Sam experience the maze to work on his identifying and labeling pictures (you’ll notice photo’s on the ground) as well as spatial concepts like under and over.
