. So, should I rest in between my sets? . . Today we have some information for you about REST PERIODS from one of your coaches!... . . . So, should you rest between your sets. Well, this all depends on what your goals are. For hypertrophy training, your rest periods can be anywhere from 30 sec to 2 min. Hypertrophy training can allow for these shorter rest periods ESPECIALLY if you are short on time. For strength programming, utilizing longer rest periods allows better recovery for OPTIMAL strength in your next few sets. PUMPKIN SPICE PANCAKES Ingredients 1/2 cup pumpkin puree* 1 medium-sized ripe banana, mashed ... 2 eggs 2/3 cup almond meal 2/3 cup buckwheat flour 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp mixed spice 2 tsp vanilla paste or essence 1 tbs coconut cream coconut or olive oil for greasing Instructions In a mixing bowl whisk together pumpkin puree, mashed banana, eggs and vanilla. Mix in almond meal, buckwheat flour, baking powder, mixed spice and coconut cream until well combined making a thick pancake batter. Grease and place fry pan over a low to medium heat. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of batter into pan and cook for 2-3 minutes or until top looks set. Flip pancake and cook for a further 1-2 minutes. Repeat process until you’ve used up all the batter.

For FRONT SQUATS, the bar is in front of the neck and across the front delts, but with BACK SQUATS the bar is behind the neck and across the back.... 2. FRONT squats engage more of the quad and upper back while BACK squats focus is on the hamstrings and glutes. 3. FRONT squats are useful for building up strength to perform Olympic lifts while BACK squats may be better for overall strength. 4 FRONT squats require less stress on the low back while BACK squats will place a bit more stress on the low back and knees. . .
