Due to continuing power outages all HCSD schools will be closed on Friday, October 30th. All students and staff will return on Tuesday, November 3rd.

The Haralson County School District will be closed for students on Thursday, October 29th due to inclement weather. All staff will report at 10:00 a.m.

AN URGENT MESSAGE FROM THE HARALSON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT: Due to recent high levels of community spread that have affected students and our ability to adequat...ely staff our schools, the Haralson County School District will be closed on October 26th & 27th in order to complete thorough deep cleaning and sanitizer fogging in all district facilities. During this shut down, all HCSD facilities will be closed and all activities are cancelled in order to allow a few extra days for our staff and students to recover and extend quarantine. All HCSD facilities and schools will reopen on Wednesday October 28th on their normal schedule. See more

TPS 2nd graders spent their art classes studying the artist Piet Mondrian. Students learned about types of lines, geometric shapes, and primary colors before Making a Mondrian of their very own.

Our first grade artists at TPS spent the last Art rotation learning about pointillism and the mixing of primary colors by looking at the works of Georges Seurat.

If you are still interested in ordering Christmas Cards of your student's design from art class, a second order will be mailed off on this Friday, October 16th.

Homecoming activities are postponed until November 3-6, We are no longer dressing up this week.

Unfortunately, our opponent for this Friday's Homecoming game, Elbert County, has had to cancel. All remaining Homecoming dress-up days and activities have been... postponed until the week of November 6th where we will resume our Homecoming celebration during the week of our game against Heard County. Coach Peavey is currently trying to either find an opponent to come take Elbert County's place or find an opponent that we can travel to defeat - sorry, play - in the place of this Friday's game. We will need to see if he can find another school and then we'll need to see whether we will be at home or away. Please keep all of your dress-up days ideas and Homecoming excitement inside for now and we'll let it loose the week of November 6th. The administration will be addressing the GoFan ticket situation for anyone who has already purchased tickets from the site and when more information is known, we will let everyone know.
