The Old Soft Shoe

Hello my friends, I just wanted to let you all know that beginning in August I will be located in the Roger's building on the square. After 13 years in my present location I thought it was time for a change and down sizing. I hope you'll still come to see me for your shoe repair and stitching , fixing, mending needs. Thanks for your patronage over the years.

I wish to dispel the rumors that I will be offering complimentary massages, and haircuts with your shoe and leather repairs. I will however still do my very best to service your repair needs. Please be kind and use the utmost caution( wear face cover) when presenting yourself in public. Stay healthy and safe, and God bless. Your friend Ernie.

Hello friends,. I am trying to safely open for business so I can continue to serve your repair needs. I am 100% convinced that all the mitigation steps to lessen the spread of Covid 19 are necessary. However since my shop is usually empty, or only one or two people at a time come in,...it's relatively safe. I do ask that you all keep your distance from me and one another, and please wear something to cover your nose and mouth. Please don't borrow anything from your horse or dog. I would hate to contribute to the spread, or worse threaten someone's health in any way. Please,..if you are actively sick, or exhibiting any flue like symptoms, stay out of the public. So to update my last post: We will now be under a shelter at home order by our governor starting Friday the 3rd of April. This means I will not be open pending further notice from authorities. I would hate to get arrested for handing you your shoes. I will still be working on them so hopefully many of you will be able to pick up your orders as soon as we can reopen. Thank you all so much for your patience and your patronage over the years. May we all make it through this difficult time and come out on the other side the better for our experience.
