Feeding children can be REALLY tricky! How can we do our best to keep them healthy and happy? How do we help them a create positive relationship with food and eating? For mealtimes at The Nest, choosing our language very, very carefully is imperative. It can be incredibly difficult, however, for adults to shake off decades-old negative, damaging, and often false perceptions about food and eating. We find keeping documents and research from nutritionists and psychologists VISIBLE really supports our journey of relearning. What helps you be a better advocate for children’s experience with food?
