Food and Housing insecurity continues to rise in our community and your neighbors need your help! Once again this year, we are partnering with Homeless at Heart to create 2000 winter care packages for men, women and children in shelters across Atlanta. The pa...ndemic won’t stop this mission and in lieu of an in person event, The Packaged Good and Homeless at Heart this year is partnering with Solidarity Sandy Springs and working with children volunteers at Solidarity, The Epstein School, The Davis Academy, The Weinstein School at the MJCCA and other schools and churches across Atlanta to create these winter care packages. Cub Club families had such a special morning honoring MLK Day by creating care packages for local homeless shelters in partnership with @thepackagedgood and @solidaritysandysprings. We are so proud of our future leaders! #DavisCubClub #DavisLOVE #mlkdayofservice

Wow!! Families from all over Atlanta came to Solidarity Sandy Springs and brought snack bags for the community Solidarity serves and also homeless shelters throughout Atlanta. The grand total delivered was 2,060 snack bags!! Amazing!! So proud of all our #DoGooders they came out for this #MLKDayofService. A big shout out also to Repair the World Atlanta who helped us with this initiative. In addition to these snack bags, over 1000 winter care packages were put together by schools throughout Atlanta (The Epstein School, The Davis Academy and The Weinstein School at the MJCCA) for Homeless at Heart, Inc..

Wednesday November 11th is Veterans Day. Every year our Do Gooders get together to make care packages for those that have served our country and are now facing hard times. Neighbors helping neighbors.. kids helping kids.. creating the next generation of #DoGooders. Thank you to the pre school and kindergarten classes of The Epstein School for packing 200 backpacks for kids heading back to Fulton County schools this week. These bags were delivered to Solidarity Sandy Springs to give to students. A huge shout out to Jeckil Promotions for donating the back packs.

We dropped off over 150 cards at the Berman Commons yesterday, hoping to brighten the day of the elderly residents. Many thanks to the kids at the MJCCA camp for working hard to make our coloring cards looks so special

Mary Hall Freedom House provides housing and services to over 250 women and over 80 children on any given day.
