Fun Fact Friday! Big word alert! Have you noticed your child’s foot bouncing. This is called clonus. Clonus is simply involuntary muscle contractions. In this video, her clonus is accompanied by spasticity. Spasticity is velocity dependent. This simply means that her spasticity and clonus kick in when her ankle is stretched quickly but not when it’s stretched slowly.
