HOW ACUPUNCTURE ENHANCES YOUR FERTILITY Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to enhance fertility. The practice of placing thin, sterile needles in specific acupuncture points, typically in combination with customized herbal formulas, nutrition, and lifestyle changes, have been used to improve your chances to conceive. Recently, a study published by the National Institute of Health confirmed those findings. Here is some exemples of ...how working with an Acupuncturist while trying to conceive can help: - Improve blood flow to the uterus and ovaries - Regulates Hormones - Reduces stress and Anxiety - Improves IVF/IUI Success rates If you are struggling to conceive, ask me how I can help. The chances of getting pregnant and having a happy healthy baby are much better when combining both Western and Eastern medicine. GRATITUDE AS A HEALTH PRACTICE We usually talk about gratitude and thankfulness around the holidays, particularly around Thanksgiving if you’re in the U.S. The truth is, this is something we should be focused on every day, because the simple act of gratefulness and giving thanks can have profound effects on our health and wellness. Focusing on the positive trains our brains to see the world in a positive light. This, in turn reduces our stress levels, lowers our blood pressur...e and boosts our immune systems. Cultivate a daily gratitude practice for 30 days, and watch how your mood and energy shift. Try this simple exercise: At the beginning or end of each day, take 5 minutes to reflect on and write down the top 3 things you are grateful for that day. At the end of 30 days, look back through your notes, close your eyes, and allow that feeling of gratitude to flow throughout your body. @ Alpharetta, Georgia See more

ARE YOU BREATHING PROPERLY? It may seem strange to think we could be breathing the wrong way, since it’s such an automatic bodily function, but the truth is, many of us are not taking full, deep breaths, and this can lead to fatigue and brain fog. Try this simple mindful breathing exercise and see how you feel. Find a place to sit comfortably in a relaxed position and close your eyes. Breathe in through your nose, expanding your belly first, and then the chest, as you mentally count to the number 4. Pause for a moment and hold the breath for a count of 4. Then, exhale slowly through the mouth for a count of 4. Repeat this exercise five to seven times and see how you feel.

DOES ACUPUNCTURE HURT? Acupuncture is virtually painless! Many people don't feel it at all when the needle is inserted. Sensations can range from a momentary stinging sensation to a deep distending feeling. Most patients report feeling very comfortable and relaxed during treatment. If any part of your treatment is painful, you should inform your practitioner immediately. Acupuncture does not need to hurt to be effective.

The question becomes, do we want to reciprocate people with more anxiety, or heal ourselves and the people around is with calm? If we choose to heal with calm, we have to commit to practicing calm. It’s extremely effective to identify the emotions that are the most likely to spark your reactivity and then practice non-reactive response. For exemple, before we respond we can count to 10 or give ourselves permission to say, I’m not sure. I need to think about this some more. Small things matter.
