Welcome to Taylor Ray Barrel Horses! Here we will post offers, updates, and the general day to day of operations. We are so glad to have you visit, and hope you stay a while!
Sometimes when Emily comes to visit, she brings the ol western ponies new outfits. Shout out to the best boy Denver for always giving 110% and to Tay for being a good sport
Another 2 year old i’ve been having a ball with! We are in awe over the way this guy moves He’s so smart and athletic!
Eddie has been so much fun and easy to break! This boy means business and is going to be so nice! Keith Regina Holland thanks for trusting me with the boys
Happy Tuesday everyone! I know there hasn't been many posts made these last few months, but don't you all fret; we are still in full swing! We promise to post more in the future! So to make up for it, here is a cute picture of miss Natalie and the wonderful Denver during their lesson yesterday
Denver had the sweetest little visitor today!
How's your quarantine going? #trailrides (Late-ish post, sorry )
With all the 'hustle and bustle' of training outside colts, we sometimes forget to tell you all about our old guys! Apollo Mavis Bars - "Mavis" is thirty; that's right, THIRTY years young (she'll be 31 next month), AQHA mare. In her prime, she was a money earning cutting AND barrel horse. She spent the last ten-ish years teaching several kiddos how to ride and love a horse before going into full retirement. ... Don't let her age fool you though -- she is still full of sass and VERY opinionated: especially at feeding time If you find yourself at the farm, be sure to go pay miss Mavis a visit! She loves cookies ;)
Denver, our resident paint gelding, has slicked off for the summer and is ready for some summertime miles!
Miss aspen is deserving of a transformation post, can’t believe that ugly and mean little 2 year old (that I wasn’t supposed to keep) grew up to be so beautiful and sweet.... most of the time
Hank got to be a "model" today! Not only did his third ride go absolutely perfect, he's also not hard on the eyes! ;)
Ground work is VERY important when working colts. A good foundation starts on the ground!
Welcome our newest colt in for training; everyone meet Hank! He's a (large) two year old owned by Julie Grizzle. Today was his second ride and he was fantastic! Looking forward to see how he progresses.
Sometimes you need a sure footed paint to teach you to fly! Everyone welcome Denver to the farm; he's a really neat, carefree guy!
UPDATE: Her forever home has been found! She's been sitting two months, pulled her out and she loped off! Someone is missing out on this sweet girl!
