There's always a good reason to visit Tybee Island

Announcement: It has come to our attention that a scammer has been hitting the Tybee Groups with fake rentals. A woman posted recently in one of the other Tybe...e groups (not this one) that she was looking for a vacation rental on Tybee for certain dates. Someone sent her a PM and offered a condo and she ended up booking it through this stranger, all through FB messenger. It was a scam, and this guest is now out $2k and has no place to stay. Very similar to scams that have been on Craigslist forever but now they’re directly reaching out to people on Facebook. PLEASE only book through reputable companies and never send money via FB or any other app. Also if you see something suspicious please report it to admins asap! See more
