Last spring students in our Grady Sports: Sports journalism at UGA's Grady College Certificate program profiled athletes from the 1980 U.S. Olympic team, including Bart Conner (gymnastics), Edwin Moses (track and field) and Megan Neyer (diving) for the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum . The profiles are now available in its Digital Museum.

Students in the GradyNewsource capstone class and volunteers for a special Countdown: Election 2020 show are gearing up for a live broadcast on election night. Coverage will include results of local races from six counties Athens-Clarke, Barrow, Jackson, Madison, Oconee and Oglethorpe as well as state races and the presidential vote. The broadcast will be available on YouTube @gradynewsource and locally on Charter channel 181.
