BREAKING NEWS! Not really, but in case you missed it...

The Village Church 19.09.2020

REPOST: When Facebook saved the Village/Everybody Church live stream this morning, something went wrong in the encode and the audio dropped after 10-seconds. Ray's talk was so meaningful, we wanted to get it up quickly. This version is without the music. The full video is available on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/d09bs1rN7Hw Life is throwing a lot at ALL OF US right now. It's kind of a tradition in church to put forward the best version of ourselves on Sunday mornings. We ...used to call it, "our Sunday best." In a modern world, though, sometimes the Sunday best, hash tag blessed, everything is beautiful, I'm victorious story comes across as inauthentic and unattainable. As we struggle through the complications of right now, it's hard to identify with anyone claiming to live her or his best life in this moment. Those of us who know and love Ray, know that he lives a big, optimistic, love-filled life. We don't often see his vulnerable side, but we all have those hard times. Ray is dealing with anxiety and it's a struggle for him right now. In this week's talk, he shares his struggle, and he shares his hope that it and we will be alright.

Ray and Jane took a road trip from east to west. It's a road trip lots of us have taken, but it's one that was new to them. They drove from Atlanta to LA, and along the way, they stopped to see, for the very first time in their lives, the Grand Canyon. For them, like for most people who visit that dent on the earth, it's a spiritual experience.... Ray share's his experience dealing with the grandure of his ideal thoughts about God's overwhelming love expressed in a place like the Grand Canyon. The beautiful story Ray tells is surrounded by music by Debra Lynn Rodriguiz that reflects the immense beauty of earth's most awe-inspiring places

The Village Church 05.09.2020

Debra Lynn Rodríguez will be leading worship at the Village online in the morning and Ray Waters will be sharing a message from the rim of the Grand Canyon! Church starts at 11 AM EDT.
