Spiritual needs are just as important as physical needs. Yesterday our Chaplain Donna Faye Marcus arranged for Deacon Bill Mcarthy from Holy Spirit Catholic Church to visit our patient now that The William Breman Jewish Home is able to have outside visitors. Even with the social distancing guidelines and protocols, Deacon Bill had a lovely visit with her. Her smile was hidden by the mask, but our tears of joy at making this happen for her weren't. #itsaboutliving

Today is the longest day. Since the sun is out longer than any other day, we take this time to honor the fight against the darkness of Alzheimer's by celebrating meaningful activities with our aging loved ones. #TheLongestDay #ENDALZ
