International Women's Day (IWD) is a day devoted to honoring and celebrating the many achievements of women all around the globe. Today, we would like to celebrate our fearless leader, Principal Lancaster! Ms. Lancaster graduated cum laude from Georgia State University with a bachelor's degree in secondary education. She went on to earn her master's degree in education from Cambridge College in Boston, where she also received a six-year degree in educational leadership. Ms. L...ancaster taught in Rockdale County public schools for 14 years, where she later became an Assistant Principal in 2007. Ms. Lancaster came to Blessed Trinity in 2014 as Assistant Principal, and became Principal in 2018. Principal Lancaster exhibits everything that IWD embodies - she is constantly challenging our students to reach their full potential and encouraging them to pursue their own dreams. We are so blessed to have Principal Lancaster leading our school!

After what seemed like endless job searching, Ryan Vassil '16 discovered 49 Financial. Based here in Atlanta, the company has a huge faith component built into its culture, which was a big deciding factor for Ryan when job interviewing. Ryan always had a dream of doing big things in the business/financial world, but he had no idea he would be able to find a company that allowed him to pursue his dream while also allowing him to grow in his faith. The company’s name, 49 Financial, stems from a Bible verse. Ecclesiastes 4:9: Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. Ryan is beyond excited to build his career with 49 Financial, all while serving his community!
