CELA is a non-profit learning academy serving West Point, Georgia and surrounding community. Our goal is to create an environment that maximizes each child’s potential to learn & grow, and helps them to be well-prepared to enter PreK next year! CELA will resume classes on Tuesday, January 19th, 2021. Our Teacher Assistants are Point University students and Point has now pushed back in-person classes to January 19th due to the spike in COVID cases locally. In keeping with caution, we are separating ourselves from the Troup County calendar this time, and aligning ourselves with the Point University calendar. We will look forward to welcoming the children back to CELA on Tuesday, January 19th, after the MLK Holiday. CELA Parents: an email was sent today with this information. Ms. Hoats is preparing activity packs for the children to give them some fun learning activities to do at home next week. You can go by the Youth Center next week to pickup your child's packet.

Skylar and La’Caiden enjoyed making reindeer out of our homemade chocolate play dough.

We were scientists today at school. We made cookie cutter volcanos. La’Caiden thought it was pretty cool and Serenity was amazed.
