Our volunteers have been hard at work packing boxes with lots of delicious perishable and non perishable food items in preparation for the month of Thanksgiving.... If you are a GA resident, you can come by and see us on one of our two distributions per month and see if you qualify. Qualification depends on number and ages in household combined with total household income. We are still social distancing so please have your trunk space cleared to hold the number of food boxes you qualify for. Everyone is asked to remain in your car and pop the trunk space so we can load your items. Please note that if you are picking up for someone else, you will need to have a note signed and dated by the person you are picking up for. Thank you for your continued cooperation. Distribution Hours *Sand Mountain location are 3-5pm *Lookout Mountain location (1st Friday and by appointment only)2-4pm *Rising Fawn Location (Last Friday and by appointment only- check with us for times and to be put on the list. This location will be for South Dade residents only)

Tropical Storm Zeta is scheduled to come through our area between Wednesday mornining and Thursday night. Here’s what that could mean: Gusty winds (although at ...this time widespread severe storms are NOT expected). Potential for Flash Flooding due to periods of heavy rainfall. A lot of uncertainty still exists with this storm both in timing and on location as it moves through the area. Please stay tuned to your local news/ weather station for updates and know that Dade County Emergency Management is already preparing for whatever this storm brings to the area. We will keep you updated on this page.
