City of Wrens crews are completing repairs on the water leak at the corner of Waynesboro Hwy and Matthews Hwy this morning. Final inspections and clean-up are scheduled by 12 noon. We appreciate our citizens and customers for their patience and understanding while we worked this repair to our water system!

For citizens who want to apply for Red Cross assistance due to the flood waters from yesterday, need to call phone # 1-855-891-7325 for a Red Cross pre-screening application.

In observation of Labor Day, there will be no solid waste collection on Monday, Sept. 7. All collections will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 8, with a one-day delay for the remainder of the week.
