When Clayton Pharmacy first opened up in 1967, Jerry Clayton didn’t know at the time he had hired one of the most dedicated employees it would ever have. At 18, Vicky Rampy joined on as a Soda Jerk, but would quickly become so much more to this very unique family-runned business. Vicky was a great employee and a great friend. She was dedicated to her work and always ready to be of assistance to a customer or other employee, Jerry told us. She took on many positions here ...at our little pharmacy, but she was so much more than a dedicated worker. She was a best friend, a mother, a sister, a cheerleader, an event planner and a warrior. She would quickly give you the shirt off her back if she knew you desperately needed it. Today we want to do a special remembrance of Vicky, because she meant the world to us, and to so many people her life had touched. Her beautiful spirit has been called home, and we can all hear her infectious laughter as she is looking down on us with a protective eye. You shall be missed, Vicky, but we know you will still be here to keep an eye out for us, just like you always have. See more
