We’re thankful for a new sign. The Sign Bros. here in Athens did a fantastic job. More than that, we’re thankful for another Sunday to gather under social distancing guidelines. Why is it wise to stay away from using the phrase, Church re-opening? Because the church never closed. This past Sunday, we resumed our worship gatherings, but we didn’t re-open the church. Certainly our building re-opened, but since we believe The Church IS the body of believers, we can’t possibly be closed. Just something to consider on this Thursday afternoon. ... Services resume tomorrow! NEW TIME - 9AM We’re taking every precaution necessary to ensure a safe enviroment for our worship gathering. As you can see from the photos, every other pew is roped off, and each open pew has a sign encouraging those in attendance to sit to either side of the pew. ... If you’re uncomfortable gathering, the sermon will be uploaded by 11AM to Clevelandroadbaptist.com. We’d ask that those who are sick, feeling unwell, running a fever, or struggling with cold-like symptoms - to please stay home. We’d also ask that all who are considering coming please practice social distancing while in the building. While masks are not required, those in attendance are certainly welcome to wear them. Tomorrow’s sermon will be on Philippians 3:17-21: A timely passage for all the pain and suffering going on in our world today.
