Our hospitals remain open and are caring for patients and staff as we prepare for the approaching storm system. Remain alert, seek help if needed, and keep thes...e tips in mind to remain safe before & during the storm: - Seek shelter in a sturdy building - Go to the lowest level of the building (preferably in a basement) and get under a heavy desk/workbench or sit next to the wall and cover your head with your arms/hands - If an underground shelter is not available, move to an interior room/hallway; put as many walls between you and the outside of the building, and stay away from windows. - Be aware of flying debris; most deaths and injuries are caused by flying debris.
