Following up on @scotthamiltongolf post from yesterday about lie angle. Had a few people reach out, so I thought I’d explain. I use a self leveling digital laser-level to ensure the sharpie line is perfectly perpendicular to the ground. With an @trackmangolf TM4, it reads dynamic lie angle to give you an idea of how the club is being delivered. I use the laser and sharpie to confirm those readings. I added a digital protractor to read the line left on the clubface after the p...layer hits it. (In the picture posted, I used a straight edge to go back over it to make it easier to see in the camera.) My typical lie angle for a 6 iron is 61 degrees. The club I hit was 64.5, hence the tilted purple line. Moral of the story - do what it takes to get it right.
