Dawson County High FFA

The FFA gave back to the community today. After being asked by a community member to construct a wheelchair ramp to assist her home bound mother, the FFA, along with Scott Sorrell, constructed the ramp today with locally donated materials. The girls did phenomenal! Girl power prevailed today. This is the second ramp the FFA has constructed for a worthy community member. Thank you Scott and our materials donor! We are humbled through our community service projects.

Fun day at the Jingle Bell Rockout Pig Show. Placings from 5th and 10th for our show team.

The FFA competed in the North Region Area 1 FFA Wildlife Management contest on December 3. The team placed 2nd and will compete at the state contest sometime in the spring. Freddie was the second highest scoring individual overall in the event, with Cort as 5th. The team was EmmaGrace, Mackenzie, Cort and Freddie. The same day the FFA competed in Floriculture and placed 3rd in the event. The team was Bridgette, Abby, Ashley and Morgan. Great job by both teams!

Had a great time at the Triple Threat Swine Show. Multiple high placings and lots of prize money brought home by our AWESOME THAT IS DAWSON pig show team.
