The Salon will be open regular hours this week and then the week of Christmas we will be open Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday. Please get your appointments scheduled and make sure that you have all your gifts taken care of. PLEASE READ-Attn All Customers! Okay Ladies and Gentlemen! Good Evening or Good Morning! According to the time you are reading this. You all know this and you know the drill. We have had a major uptick in case numbers here in this county. We have had people close to us deal with this virus. We all know how dangerous it is and we need to make sure that each person that you are in contact with is safe. Designing Women Salon has been doing everything possible to be as safe as i...t can be since this all started. We will continue to do that and not let our guard down now. 1). Mask Up ! It’s not just for you, it’s for everyone around you. Once you are in the salon and with your stylist, discuss with them how to proceed in their chair. We do not want to have to mandate mask in the business, but we are asking all of you to be considerate of everyone around you. There is also the possibility that you could have the virus and not know it. Another reason for the mask. 2) Appointments are needed and very important. We know that we are all sick and tired of this mess, but in order to get it back under control, we all have to do our part. We, as a business, do not want to have to close again so please respect us, yourself and everyone around you and do what you can to help. We are still moving right along at the salon and doing what we are supposed to do according to state and local guidelines. As a reminder for all of you: With school going back in and everyone watching and waiting, please be aware of any sickness or not feeling well that you or your child may seem to have. The infection numbers and the hospital numbers are continuously going up. Wear your mask, wash your hands, no face touching, clean anything that needs it around you. Please adhere to our rules and if for ANY reason you are sick or live with, work with anyone who has tested positive, rescheduling is very important. The state had some of its h...ighest new cases this weekend. Be alert and be safe. We are doing this for you and all of us here at the salon. Hand sanitizer and mask are in the salon. Ladies and gentlemen! Good evening or morning when you read this! Hope everyone is well and had a nice weekend. Another week in the books and here we are to start a new one. And guess what? We are still dealing with a serious virus and we have to pay attention to what is happening so that as businesses we do not end up in a closing state again. Cases of the virus continue to go up, and in Georgia we are dealing with the highest amounts since this began. 1800 cases on Saturda...y alone. We just went back over 1000 for people in the hospital in Georgia. Elberton is getting closer and closer to 100 cases. Back about the first of April, we had ZERO. With all that being said, we are still in our same protocol for the salon and the rules that we have stated over and over. You must be safe! You must adhere to our rules for all involved. We do not want to have to go into any hard mandatory rules, but for the safety for all of us, that is something we have to watch and consider if things continue to go back up. This is still a serious problem virus and we will do all we can to keep people safe. Please go back and read over our rules if you are not sure you can adhere to them. Happy Weekend everyone. Hope all are well and thank you again for being AWESOME!!! We love our clients and we are so glad that we have gotten to take care of all of your needs during this time. As you know we were allowed to open a few weeks back under a big number of rules and regulations by the State. We have done and continue to do what we need to keep you and us safe. As of this coming week, our rules and regulations will not change even though the governor has relaxed a ...few more rules. Safety is our main concern. At this time there are still to many daily Covid 19 cases to completely go back to normal. Today in fact for the State was a top ten record number for a one day total at almost 1000 cases. We know that we are not in a hot bed area in Elberton, but we also do not want it to turn into one either. So therefore, please read and follow all of our request and thank you for understanding. We are in a high risk business because we cannot social distance and cut, curl and color your hair. We do not think you would be happy if we tried to stay back 6 ft and do or jobs!! Please do not be offended, this is our job and our way of life. You will only be allowed in the salon by yourself. No one else can come in with you unless you are bringing a small child. Everyone else MUST stay outside of the building. If you get to the salon before your appointment and your stylist is not ready for you, please stay in your car until they call you in. There will be no chairs in the waiting area at this time. We will be wearing mask and gloves and we ask that you as a client wear a mask as much as possible while you are in the chair. We know that there will be times you cannot but we will be. Appointments will be limited to a certain amount per day as to not have more people in the salon as stated. All four of us will be working a staggered schedule also, which will also help the amount of people in the salon. Update: At this time there is not one ladies and gentlemen! Sorry! Governor spoke today and everything is still the same as it was stated last week. Our salon will continue to go by the State direction and will be closed until at least April 30th. Our hands are tied and that makes it easier to let you know that it is all about safety. This mandate takes affect tmrw at 6 until April 13, 2020 as of today. It is subject change at any time and we will abide by that order and any others that come along. Monday Mar. 23rd. Message for all our wonderful customers. Gov. Kemp’s directive for shelter in place for at risk groups has put a new direction on what is safe and healthy for all. If for any reason you are not feeling well or feel you need to cancel/reschedule your appointment for any reason please do so. We do not and will not put anyone’s health in jeopardy during this time.
