Hello everyone! My name is Emily Olson and as most of you already know, I am a musician. As the lead singer of a band called RuHaa! and a recent member of the music business certificate program at UGA, I have been able to explore my passion for music and to expand my experience in various areas including artist promotion, performance, socia media management, recording, booking, and more. I have created this page to serve as a networking tool for a future career in the music ...business as a marketing professional/content creator, while further advancing my own career as a music artist at the same time. RuHaa! (2017-2019) ... Thanks to everyone for an unforgettable last performance and an unforgettable experience as the lead singer of this band. Wouldn’t have been possible without these awesome dudes and the support of so many individuals and organizations in the Athens community. I can’t express enough how much it meant for me to create, sing, and perform in a town with a musical history as rich as Athens, GA. I love that through everything I have not only learned so muc...h about making music and songwriting, but about myself and others. Processing the world through words, spontaneously jamming, feeling the vulnerability of being on stage, and experiencing the sheer energy and connection between yourself and the audience each part of the process is incredible and I am so grateful to have experienced it all as a member of a group. I have so much love for this craft, the Athens music community, and these guys. Happy that it happened, sad that it’s over, I say goodbye to a part of my college years that I’ll forever cherish and remember. Rock on! See more
