Camden County Family Violence Task Force

The 10th Annual Camden House Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Sunday, May 2, at the Club at Osprey Cove in St. Marys. Members of the Camden House Board and other community volunteers are seeking tournament sponsors and golfers. There are several sponsorship opportunities available for local businesses and the names of leading sponsors will appear on a welcoming banner, on the Camden House website and in all promotional materials. Key sponsors will also be offered fou...rsomes to play in the tournament. Tournament representatives are also soliciting businesses throughout the community for donated products and services that will be offered as raffle and auction prizes. Players will also be eligible for several on-course contests that include putting, closest to the line, and closest to the pin on all par3’s. Each contest will have prizes for both men and women players. Osprey Cove, a Mark McCumber-designed course built in 1990, is a magnificently groomed, links-style challenge situated on the Atlantic coast. Set among tidal inlets and pristine salt marshes, the course offers a fantastic panorama of natural beauty. This is the biggest fund raiser for Camden House! Come help this wonderful non profit that does so much for our community! According to Marcie Costello, Executive Director of Camden House, The golf tournament is the major fundraising event of the year and will provide the funds needed to support Camden House in its mission of providing care to victims of abuse.

First, Camden House would like to start by thanking all the local youth that participated in the first edition of this poster contest for Teen Dating Violence A...wareness Month. Members of our dedicated board have casted their votes and selected the poster contest winner for TDVAM, and the winner is 13-year-old Maryssa P. Once again we would to thank all participants for their creativity and involvement that continue to join us in spreading awareness and support to our youth. Below is an image of the winning poster.
