So, last November, I had a goal of posting here at least weekly with advice for refinancing or home buying. But, that got derailed when my email was hacked early that month. All discovered when the fraudster attempted to withdraw $25,000 out of my escrow account. Talk about nauseating! It took about two weeks to recover from the pluthera of emails that went out to all of my contacts. Then, I worked with a forensic company in an effort to determine if anyone's personal in...formation was compromised. Would you believe these forensic specialists could not get into the backside of my email account! It all has to do with restrictions from the host company. November was a fun month to say the least! It all worked out though. The lesson is this . . . Protect all of your personal information to the best of your ability, particularly when working over emails. If your in the process of a loan, make sure your lender and the closing attorney have a way to transmit personal information in an encrypted manner. Email accounts are often spoofed or hacked, so be very cautious of emails you receive with attachments. Always call and verify with the sender. See more

Now that I have had this page for over a year, I think I should start using it. My goal is to provide some quality information to viewers about purchasing or selling homes and some issues that may occur in the process. Look for some sort of news posting beginning in November!
